Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Consumer Payments. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Design, and Partnerships to design new payment experiences, improve repayment flows, and optimize payment performance and cost.

You will lead investigations from discovery through launch, use data and customer research to drive decisions, and communicate tradeoffs clearly to senior leaders in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Analytical rigor: comfortable with data and experiments to drive decisions.
• Curiosity about customers and drive to fix issues.
• Experience collaborating with engineers on system tradeoffs.
• Track record from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Clear communication and influence across cross-functional teams.
• Bonus: experience in payments, fintech, or e-commerce.

Responsibilities

• Improve how customers pay with Affirm by focusing on payments experiences.
• Uncover where paying breaks down through research and data.
• Create new payment experiences from discovery to launch.
• Design and run experiments to improve conversion, payment success, and cost.
• Shape how payments are processed safely and cost‑effectively.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Design, and Partnerships to define sequencing.
• Drive an ambitious roadmap delivering customer and business outcomes.
