Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Consumer Payments to lead new payment experiences and improve repayment flows. This remote-first role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Design, and Partnerships, driving cross‑functional impact from discovery through launch.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product management, deep analytical skills, and a customer‑centric mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Analytical rigor: comfortable in data and use experiments and customer research to make product decisions.
• Curiosity about customers and the drive to fix breakdowns.
• Experience discussing system design and tradeoffs with engineers.
• Track record taking products from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Clear communication and influence across Product, Engineering, Finance, Design, and Partnerships, including senior leaders, without formal authority.
• Bonus: experience in payments, fintech, or e-commerce.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the customer, uncovering where paying breaks down through research and data.
• Create new payment experiences from discovery to launch with Design and Analytics.
• Design and run experiments to improve conversion, payment success, and cost.
• Shape how payments are processed safely and cost‑effectively, balancing performance and risk.
• Be a trusted partner across teams exploring opportunities and sequencing work.
• Drive an ambitious roadmap delivering customer and business outcomes with senior leadership alignment.
