Job summary

Affirm, based in Los Angeles, is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Consumer Payments to craft new payment experiences and improve repaying flows. You will work across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Design, and Partnerships to shape a bold roadmap.

You’ll focus on customer pain points, run experiments to improve conversion and payment success, and balance performance with risk while aligning with leadership on strategic bets. Remote-first with flexible in-person onboarding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Analytical rigor using data and experiments to drive decisions.
• Curiosity about customers and ability to identify where experiences break down.
• Experience communicating with engineers about system tradeoffs.
• Track record turning discovery inputs into a clear development plan.

Responsibilities

• Improve how customers pay with Affirm by building new payment experiences.
• Focus on the customer to uncover where paying breaks down using research and data.
• Create and launch payment experiences with Design and Analytics from discovery to launch.
• Design and run experiments to improve conversion, payment success, and cost.
• Shape how payments are processed safely and cost‑effectively, balancing performance and risk.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Design, and Partnerships to explore opportunities and define sequencing.
• Drive an ambitious roadmap delivering customer and business outcomes, presenting to senior leaders.
