Job summary

Jobtailor in New York seeks a product manager to own monetization, billing, and pricing strategies across its platform. You will define how usage is measured, track and reconcile data, and shape customer entitlements and invoices, collaborating with Finance, Sales, and Engineering.

You will translate commercial strategy into durable systems, write clear PRDs, and ensure data accuracy while enabling self-serve admin capabilities for customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product management with monetization or billing focus.
• Strong understanding of usage-based and subscription models.
• Experience turning strategy into durable billing systems.
• Ability to partner with Finance and GTM teams.
• Rigorous data reasoning for billable logic and edge cases.

Responsibilities

• Own the product decisions behind metering, consumption, and pricing.
• Define measurement, tracking, aggregation, and reconciliation across products.
• Own pricing and packaging systems including plans and add-ons.
• Govern entitlements, quotas, limits, permissions, and enforcement.
• Shape billing experiences connecting contracts to invoices.
• Enable self-serve administration for customers and teams.
• Establish definitions and monitoring for commercial data.
• Partner with Product, Finance, Sales, RevOps, and Engineering.
• Translate commercial strategy into scalable systems and actionable options.
• Define PRDs and make architecture trade-offs with engineers.
