Job summary
The Hartford Steam Boiler, a subsidiary of Munich Re, seeks a Portfolio Risk Solutions Product Manager Lead to drive strategy and profitability for the Commercial Equipment Breakdown portfolio. You will partner with Global Product Management, Underwriting, Claims, and business leaders to shape market-facing strategies and deliver growth.
You will own the portfolio, monitor trends, and lead initiatives that improve customer value and market competitiveness, while representing HSB in industry
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Advanced degree (Masters/MBA) or Insurance accreditation (CPCU) desirable.
- 10+ years experience with Commercial EB in underwriting or related insurance experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the overall product strategy, profitability, growth, and performance of Commercial Equipment Breakdown portfolio.
- Serve as primary product expert and trusted advisor to Client Company partners and stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Develop and execute product enhancements, coverage innovations, and strategic initiatives to improve customer value and market competitiveness.
- Collaborate with Global Product Owner, Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Engineering, and Business Development teams to align strategy and execution.
- Lead portfolio analytics, market intelligence, and underwriting insights to drive profitable growth.
- Represent HSB in industry forums, client meetings, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Provide guidance on complex coverage, underwriting, and portfolio management issues.
