This role serves as the voice of the customer and the SME for utility product solutions, guiding portfolio decisions and supporting sales growth within the electric utility sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing, or related field.
• 7+ years in electric utility industry with safety/utility products.
• Demonstrated product management, marketing, or technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of electric utility operations and safety practices.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical or customer-facing teams.
• Excellent presentation, communication and training skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a product strategy and roadmap for the Electric Utility Division.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Specialists and Demonstrators.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert on utility products and standards.
• Partner with distributors, sales reps and end users to identify needs and market opportunities.
• Translate customer insights into product enhancements and new development opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales to support business development, key presentations, field demos, and growth.
• Develop and deliver technical product training for customers, distributors and internal teams.
• Conduct ongoing competitive analysis including feature comparisons and pricing trends.
• Support launches and commercialization with Marketing and Operations.
• Represent NSA at industry conferences and customer events.
• Establish KPIs and evaluate portfolio performance and customer satisfaction.
