Job summary

National Safety Apparel (NSA) seeks a Senior Product Manager for the Electric Utility Division in Belleville, IL. You will lead product strategy and market development, acting as the voice of the customer and SME for utility product solutions.

You will guide a team of Product Specialists and Demonstrators, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive portfolio decisions to support sales growth and customer value. Requires strong leadership and travel readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 7+ years in electric utility industry or related safety/utility products.
• Experience in product management, marketing, or technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of electric utility operations and safety practices.
• Experience mentoring technical/customer-facing teams.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and training skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a product strategy and roadmap for NSA's Electric Utility Division.
• Lead and coach a team of Product Specialists and Product Demonstrators.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on utility products and standards.
• Identify market needs and opportunities with distributors, sales and end users.
• Translate insights into product enhancements and new development opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales to support key accounts and field demonstrations.
• Deliver technical product training for customers, distributors, and internal teams.
• Conduct competitive analyses and monitor pricing trends and market developments.
• Support launches and commercialization with Marketing and Operations.
• Represent NSA at industry conferences and customer events.
• Establish KPIs and evaluate portfolio performance and satisfaction.
