Backstory is hiring a Senior PM for Platform to accelerate Matching, Activity Capture, and CRM Integration. The role focuses on data quality, system integrations, and enterprise-grade platform initiatives, with growth toward full Platform ownership.

You will engage with CIO-level stakeholders, guide data pipelines, and drive roadmap execution across multiple connectors and data platforms. Strong technical fluency and product leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of product management experience, including senior level.
• Experience with enterprise data systems (CRMs, data lakes/warehouses).
• Proven track record building platform‑level products.
• Strong data analysis and data modeling skills.
• Excellent customer-facing communication with IT leaders.
• Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
• Bachelor's degree; CS/Engineering preferred.
• Based in Canada.

Responsabilités

• Own and drive the Matching and Activity Capture roadmap, improving data completeness and reliability.
• Lead CRM Integration roadmap across Salesforce, Dynamics, and connectors.
• Grow into ownership of the Unified Data Platform milestones and Admin Next within 12–18 months.
• Represent platform capabilities in customer-facing settings—architecture reviews and roadmap presentations.
• Develop repeatable enablement messaging for CS and SE teams on platform differentiators and integration mechanics.
• Instrument roadmaps with clear success metrics and feedback loops with customers and teams.
• Bring AI tools and workflows into discovery, PRD development, data analysis, and enablement.
