1872 Consulting is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own cart and checkout experiences for a major U.S. retailer's eCommerce platform.

You will lead initiatives to streamline the purchasing journey, reduce cart abandonment, and deliver reliable checkout experiences across high-traffic digital channels. This hands-on role requires direct ownership of eCommerce cart and checkout capabilities, with a strong understanding of payments, promotions, and the technical dependencies involved in

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience.
• Strong retail or eCommerce background.
• Hands-on ownership of cart and checkout products.
• Experience with payment processing, promotions, tax, and shipping.
• Experience optimizing conversion funnels and reducing checkout abandonment.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the cart and checkout product roadmap.
• Identify opportunities to reduce friction, improve conversion, and minimize cart abandonment.
• Partner with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to design and launch checkout improvements.
• Collaborate on payment processing, authorization, fraud prevention, promotions, tax, and shipping requirements.
• Support fulfillment options such as BOPIS, ship-to-store, and delivery within the checkout experience.
• Lead product discovery, requirements gathering, backlog prioritization, and delivery.
• Use funnel analytics, customer behavior data, and A/B testing to guide product decisions.
• Lead UAT, release readiness, and stakeholder communication.
• Measure product performance and communicate results to leadership.
