Job summary

PagerDuty is seeking a Senior Product Manager for AI and Automation to own the strategy and execution of its AI-powered automation platform. You will lead multi-year roadmaps for Workflows and Actions across cloud SaaS and on‑prem deployments, shaping the agentic layer with Skills, Tools, and Connectors and coordinating with AI/ML teams and security stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience shipping customer-facing software at scale; SaaS B2B strongly preferred.
• Deep fluency in the SRE and DevOps domain — you understand on-call rotations, runbooks, and production systems.
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation, integration platforms, job schedulers, or infrastructure tooling.
• Ability to reason about principals, permissions, scopes, and trust delegation with security architects and enterprise customers.
• Strong technical aptitude: reading API specs, telemetry, and conversing with senior engineers.
• Track record of managing ambiguous, multi-stakeholder roadmaps from vision through GA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; can distill complex platform trade-offs for technical and executive audiences.
• Familiarity with UI/UX best practices, usability testing, and interpreting user research for roadmap decisions.
• Passion for getting things done, curiosity, and willingness to ask for help.
• Strong customer empathy and a curiosity-driven approach to learning user needs.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the multi-year roadmap for Workflows and Actions for cloud SaaS and on-prem deployments.
• Lead product definition for the agentic layer of the automation platform (Skills, Tools, Connectors).
• Define models for autonomous SRE agents interacting with runbooks, Actions, and external APIs.
• Collaborate with engineering on trust, safety, and audit boundaries before automation acts autonomously.
• Partner with AI/ML teams to differentiate agentic experience by domain and context.
