Job summary

Hover seeks a seasoned product leader to own the Core experience, aligning design, engineering, and GTM to deliver a unified platform for contractors, homeowners, and insurers. You will shape shared foundations, set success metrics, and drive AI-native workflows that improve onboarding, activation, and retention.

You bring 8+ years of product leadership with a track record across platform, onboarding, and growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience shipping customer-facing products at scale.
• Experience owning complex cross-cutting product surfaces such as platform, core UX, identity, onboarding, or growth.
• Strong product and business judgment, able to move between strategy and detailed decisions.
• Technical and analytical fluency; partner with Engineering on APIs, permissions, instrumentation, and architecture tradeoffs.
• Proven partnerships with Design, Engineering, other product teams, and GTM; progress through ambiguity.
• AI fluency: use AI daily to analyze, prototype, and build; show prototypes or automated workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead product for Hover's Core experience; define strategy for shared foundations and patterns.
• Collaborate with Design and Engineering from discovery through iteration to reduce friction.
• Define measurable customer outcomes and regularly use the product to understand friction.
• Make deliberate tradeoffs to connect product work across teams and focus on impact.
• Build an AI-native workflow approach, with clear goals, quality checks, and human review as needed.
