Maverick is seeking a strategic VP of Product to own the technology and operational engine behind its insurance and warranty platforms. This builder’s role requires blending product vision with hands-on execution, directing an engineering roadmap, and leading service delivery across HomeCareOS and internal tooling.

The role emphasizes operational efficiency through automation and AI, cross-functional collaboration, and scalable systems in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product, technology, or operational leadership.
• 3+ years leading teams with a track record of advancement.
• Genuine technical fluency to direct engineering tradeoffs.
• Experience shipping product from vision to adoption.
• Operator's mindset: scale processes, remove friction, build leverage.
• Experience in insurtech/fintech/SaaS preferred; startup adaptability.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap across Maverick’s platforms, balancing client features and back-office efficiency.
• Lead in-house engineering, set priorities and standards.
• Translate business needs into clear product requirements and drive adoption.
• Lead HomeCare product line and service delivery via HomeCareOS.
• Drive the tech-based delivery platform toward consistency, speed, scalability.
• Drive operational efficiency via automation, integration, and AI.
• Collaborate with Agency Operations, Sales, Marketing, Underwriting, and Service.
• Depending on org design, own Structural Warranty underwriting operations.
