Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a senior Product Operations Manager to join the product development arm. The role partners with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to launch beta programs and scale operations through central systems and efficient processes.

The position emphasizes ownership of launch readiness, program automation, and the ongoing improvement of product operations. Hybrid work model with relocation support is offered for US-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in Product Operations at scaling tech companies.
• Work closely with Product/Engineering and XFN partners on central systems and product launches.
• Experience running alpha/beta/GA programs and launch activities.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and operate alpha/beta/GA programs with clear entry/exit criteria.
• Own the launch calendar and readiness cadence for a product group.
• Build systems to capture, triage, and synthesize user feedback into actionable recommendations.
• Lead coordination for high-impact moments (Dev Day demos, rollout waves, partner showcases).
• Build internal tools/automations (code/no-code/AI) to scale operations.
• Contribute to scaling the Product Operations function and mentoring peers.
