Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Product Engagement Specialist on the User Operations team. You’ll design and ship scalable feedback systems, coordinate launches across internal teams and external partners, and translate customer insights into product improvements. The role emphasizes program ownership, collaboration, and a data‑driven approach in a fast‑paced environment.

You will work from San Francisco with a hybrid model (3 days in the office) and relocation assistance for new employees.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product launch coordination or equivalent within a customer‑facing environment.
• Experience taking ambiguous problems from discovery through delivery and adoption.
• Strong cross‑functional relationship building with Product, Engineering and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own scalable systems for launch readiness, feedback capture, triage, synthesis, and routing.
• Coordinate product launches across internal User Operations and external third‑party teams.
• Develop scalable feedback loops between support and product/engineering teams.
• Advocate for customer needs in product and engineering discussions.
• Document and standardize launch procedures for repeatable processes.
• Monitor post‑launch performance and extract insights for roadmap.
