Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Product Engagement Specialist on the User Operations team in San Francisco, CA. This hybrid role (3 days in office) focuses on coordinating product launches, enabling support readiness, and building scalable processes that improve end-to-end outcomes.

You will prototype automation, create playbooks and dashboards, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Operations to reduce risks and drive measurable improvements in customer experience.

Qualifications

• In this role you will coordinate product launches across internal and external teams.
• You will build scalable mechanisms such as automation, playbooks, operating procedures, taxonomies, dashboards, and routing.
• You will prototype automation with scripts, queries, dashboards, low-code tools, and LLM-enabled workflows.
• You will develop scalable feedback loops that ingest signals from support channels and partners, normalize them, and route insights to owners.
• You will identify launch risks early and drive mitigation plans to protect customer experience and SLAs.
• You will collaborate cross-functionally to align goals, timelines, and readiness metrics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product launches across internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution and support readiness.
• Build scalable mechanisms that make launches scalable—automation, playbooks, procedures, taxonomies, dashboards, routing.
• Prototype and implement automation (scripts, dashboards, low-code tools, LLM workflows) to replace manual processes.
• Develop scalable feedback loops that normalize signals and route insights to Product and Engineering owners.
• Identify launch risks early and drive mitigation plans to protect customer experience and service levels.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal/Policy, and Operations to align goals and readiness metrics.
• Report on readiness and feedback loop performance with key insights, trends, and recommendations.
