Job summary

Ideal candidates have extensive molded parts experience, DFMEA/PFMEA, Six Sigma, and a track record in mass production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years design or sustaining engineering experience.
• 5+ years experience with molded parts and mass production including DFM/DFMEA and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and Minitab.
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies and quality control principles.

Responsibilities

• Reflect BOA’s vision and leadership in the Product Development team.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for complex reports.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure problem report management.
• Lead product improvement projects to enhance existing product lines.
• Support PLM/EPDM updates and mentor junior engineers.
• Facilitate new product introductions by approving mass production launches.
• Guide engineers on product specification management and gauge R&R studies.
• Collaborate with global teams and customers to resolve issues.
