Job summary

Columbia Tech in Westborough, MA is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Product Development to evaluate manufacturing processes and collaborate with Design Engineers to meet product requirements and drive DFMA improvements.

You will support production transfer, develop process and assembly flow diagrams, and partner with Quality, Program Managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering discipline required with 6+ years in ISO-regulated capital equipment manufacturing.
• Experience with New Product Development and New Product Introduction.
• SolidWorks CAD and ERP/MRP exposure; GD&T and PFMEA knowledge highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufacturing processes applying product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials knowledge.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers to meet product requirements and DFMA opportunities.
• Support transition of products to production with engineers and managers.
• Develop Process Flow and Assembly Flow Diagrams for new products.
