Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technical or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year experience in product engineering or product management in computer or software markets.
• Product Owner certification preferred.
• Experience with product development and release to market preferred.
• Understanding of product life cycle management.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience with technical product services support.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide audience, both technical and non-technical.
• Strong working knowledge of product management techniques and practices.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and ensures alignment among cross-functional teams to meet major product milestones and customer commitments.
• Develops integrated project plans across functional teams to support major milestones and commitments.
• Supports and coordinates with product manager and teams to ensure robust qualification criteria are met across development, alpha, beta, manufacturing transfer and ramp, EOL.
• Discerns and categorizes customer issues and funnels them to the appropriate teams.
• Uses product lifecycle management tools to ensure proper documentation for standards and regulatory compliance.
• Tracks progress and reports on resolving major customer issues.
• Coordinates rollout of new product testing, validation, and post-launch support.
• Participates in product development team meetings and manufacturing meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
