Job summary

Advanced Energy in Denver, CO is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to lead product and process controls on the shop floor and drive the 8D problem resolution process with Production and Engineering teams.

You will promote quality programs, ensure compliance with standards, and train inspectors on containment, AGR&R, and measurement methods. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g. ECE, EE, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Promoting performance improvement and quality assurance programs throughout the organization.
• Supports continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensures product / process compliance with quality policies, procedures and applicable industry standards.
• Ensures compliance to the containment, rework, and inspection processes for non‑conforming product.
• Leads disposition of non‑conforming product and ensures timely disposition.
• Directing workers engaged in manufacturing process qualification, testing and measuring product, tabulating the data relating product quality.
• Determining relevant quality associated training requirements and delivering training.
• Monitoring OQA performance by collecting relevant data and preparing statistical reports.
• Has the authority and the responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of a non‑conformance of customer expectations, safety, or environmental risks.
• Participate with the team in the process improvement activities and projects.
• Develop AGR&R trainings, plan and perform AGR&R for all inspectors along the production floor

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Minimum 5 years experience in Manufacturing
