Job summary

Fireworks in San Mateo is seeking a senior product engineer to help build our PLG growth platform. You’ll own end-to-end developer outcomes, from onboarding to monetization, shaping experiments, and shipping reliable features for API users.

You’ll collaborate with product, design, marketing, data, and sales to move fast, measure outcomes, and improve the first-use experience for developers integrating our platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping user-facing products with real-time growth surfaces.
• Proven track record of moving business metrics with measurable outcomes.
• Strong full-stack skills across frontend, backend, APIs, data models, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Own developer outcomes end to end: problem discovery, solution shaping, prototyping, production deployment, instrumentation, and learning from results.
• Build growth foundations: event tracking, funnels, experimentation framework, lifecycle messaging.
• Design and run rigorous experiments with clear hypotheses and metrics; ship wins when appropriate.
• Communicate with developers to observe first-call failures and translate insights into working code.
• Create polished, fast, accessible experiences on marketing site and product.
