Job summary
SPX Technologies in Madison, AL is seeking a Senior Engineer I – Product Development to drive design across engineering disciplines for complex projects, coordinating internal and external teams to deliver cost-effective products.
You will lead technical reviews, develop project plans, ensure codes and standards compliance, mentor engineers, and support testing, vendor relations, and product documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in product development.
- Experience with CAD/CAM tools and manufacturing methods.
- Experience with SAP ERP and design for manufacturing.
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment design and cooling towers.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and act as an internal/external consultant.
- Coordinate work of engineers, technicians, and designers.
- Develop project plans and manage tasks to schedule.
- Perform design reviews and verify drawings against specs.
- Provide testing support and vendor interface.
