Qualifications

• 6+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with design for manufacturing methods.
• Experience with SAP ERP Systems.
• Experience in AutoCAD, MatchCAD, and RISA2D/3D.
• Experience in Solid Edge.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with teams across locations.
• Knowledge of national building codes.
• Knowledge of cooling tower design and structural engineering.
• Ability to apply fundamental engineering concepts to complex projects.
• Strong product knowledge and creative problem solving.
• Able to visualize complex spatial geometry.
• Passionate about product development.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Manage projects and schedule tasks.
• Project Management: Execute project‑specific document control.
• Project Management: Review, approve, and control vendor‑supplied engineering documents.
• Project Management: Provide support to site erection and commissioning teams.
• Technical Leadership: Delegate work to drafters and other engineers.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical consultant to sales and construction teams, both internally and in the field, as well as customers.
• Technical Leadership: Train new engineering employees and assist internal sales team.
• Technical Leadership: Develop new designs and solutions to problems.
• Documentation and Compliance: Develop project‑specific operating and maintenance manuals.
• Documentation and Compliance: Write engineering specifications for tower lines and components.
• Documentation and Compliance: Verify and provide proof of job completion and meeting specification requirements.
• Documentation and Compliance: Sign and approve drawings for new and project‑specific designs and for drawings that are product standards.
• Testing and Support: Troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment.
• Testing and Support: Conduct product testing during development and post‑installation to verify software and data development.
• Testing and Support: Witness third‑party contractual tests.
