Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies, part of SPX Technologies, is seeking an Engineer I to provide engineering support across multiple business units. You will identify product improvements, perform analyses, and develop 3D models and drawings under supervision.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in 3D modeling, familiarity with ERP, BOMs, and strong communication skills to work across production and management. Onsite role with hybrid schedule after probation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in 3D modeling software.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, BOM creation, and document management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and apply project management principles.
• Proficiency in CAD tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for multiple projects across business units.
• Identify product and process improvement opportunities with drawings, BOMs, and quality plans.
• Perform finite element and structural/hydraulic analyses as needed.
• Create and modify 3D product models and 2D drawings.
• Coordinate with production and management to meet goals.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
