Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking an Engineer I to provide engineering support across HVAC-related projects. The role involves applying engineering principles to design, analyze, and improve products, while following established procedures and receiving supervision.

You will work on 3D modelling, BOM creation, and documentation, interacting with internal teams and external customers to solve technical questions and drive product improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working in 3D modelling software.
• Understanding of ERP systems, BOM creation and document management.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to identify issues and implement changes.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present data.

Responsibilities

• Technical engineering design and support for multiple projects.
• Perform finite element and structural analysis as needed.
• Create and modify product models and drawings from 3D models (BOMs, assembly manuals).
• Coordinate with production, quality, engineering and sourcing to implement process improvements.
• Maintain documentation and work within ERP to manage model data.
