Job summary
Coinbase is seeking a Senior Product Designer on the Developer Foundations team to shape end-to-end experiences for developers building on Coinbase. You will own the Developer Portal, docs, API dashboards, and onboarding flows, turning complex workflows into clear, intuitive experiences that drive developer adoption.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of product design experience, incl. 2+ years designing developer tools or documentation.
- Experience delivering end-to-end design for multi-surface products.
- Portfolio showing design system contributions and scalable thinking.
- Proficient in Figma for design delivery and prototyping.
- Strong user research experience informing design decisions.
- Experience applying generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for the Developer Portal, including docs, dashboards, onboarding, and tooling.
- Lead design system contributions for developer-facing surfaces across the Portal.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Developer Relations to reduce friction in the developer journey.
- Conduct user research and usability testing with external developers.
- Shape AI-powered features in the Portal, like intelligent search and code generation UX.
- Create and maintain design specs and prototypes in Figma as the spec source.
