Coinbase, Inc. is hiring a Senior Product Designer for the Developer Foundations team. You will craft end-to-end experiences for developers on the Developer Portal, turning complex technical workflows into intuitive interfaces that drive adoption.

You will lead design system contributions, collaborate with product, engineering, and developer relations, and research external developer needs to inform high-impact improvements. This remote-first role emphasizes scalable design across surfaces.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design experience, including developer tools or technical platforms.
• Ownership of multi-surface design shipped to production.
• Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system with scalable thinking.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for the Developer Portal, including docs, dashboards, onboarding, and tooling.
• Lead design system contributions for developer-facing surfaces for consistency and scale.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Developer Relations to reduce friction and ship improvements.
• Drive user research and usability testing with external developers to validate decisions.
• Shape AI-powered features in the Portal, like smart search and contextual guidance.
• Create and maintain design specs, prototypes, and interaction patterns in Figma.
