Job summary

Coinbase is seeking aSenior Product Designer for the Developer Foundations team to shape the end-to-end experience for developers building on Coinbase. You will own the Developer Portal, including documentation, API dashboards, and onboarding flows, turning complex workflows into clear, intuitive experiences that drive adoption and scale.

Qualifications

5+ years of product design experience, including developer-focused surfaces.
Ownership of end-to-end design for multi-surface products shipped to production.
Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system with scalable thinking.
Proficiency in Figma for delivery, prototyping, and system management.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end design for the Developer Portal, including docs, API dashboards, onboarding flows, and self-serve tooling.
Lead design system contributions for developer-facing surfaces across the Portal.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Developer Relations to identify friction points and ship improvements.
Drive user research and usability testing with external developers to validate decisions.
Shape how AI-powered features surface within the Portal (search, guidance, code generation).
