Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Designer on the Developer Foundations team. You will shape the end-to-end experience for developers building on Coinbase, owning the Developer Portal, docs, API dashboards, and onboarding flows.

You will lead design system contributions and partner across product, engineering, and developer relations to improve the developer journey. With 5+ years in product design and a track record shipping multi-surface products, you will drive user research,

5+ years of product design experience.
Experience designing developer tools, technical platforms, or documentation.
Portfolio showing end-to-end design for multi-surface products.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end design for the Developer Portal, including docs, API dashboards, onboarding flows, and self-service tooling.
Lead design system contributions for developer-facing surfaces, ensuring consistency and scalability.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Developer Relations to identify friction points and ship improvements.
Drive user research and usability testing with external developers to validate decisions.
Shape AI-powered features in the Portal, such as intelligent search and contextual guidance.
Maintain design specs and prototypes in Figma as the source of truth for engineering.
