Job summary

A Place for Mom is seeking a Staff Product Designer to own product design for Consumer Experience. You will shape journeys helping families understand options and build confidence in making high-stakes senior care decisions.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Marketing, Analytics, and Operations to elevate design quality and leverage AI thoughtfully. You will prototype, advocate for accessibility, and mentor peers while advancing a coherent design system.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience on complex consumer web, marketplace, healthcare, or SaaS products.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end ownership from ambiguous problem framing to shipped product.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design for Consumer workstreams across multiple platforms and channels.
• Translate emotionally complex care decisions into intuitive workflows for families.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define problem framing, success metrics, and release scope.
• Design for trust, accessibility, and usability across moments of high-stakes decisions.
