Job summary

ECP is hiring a Lead Product Designer to own the product experience across clinical, CRM and billing. You will start as the sole designer, reporting to the VP of Product, shaping the UX and collaborating with product and engineering to build intuitive software for senior living communities.

You’ll lead design vision, build a design system, conduct user research, and drive AI-powered features from concept to launch, aiming for the best-looking, easiest-to-use software in the industry.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product/UX design leading end-to-end design.
• Strong portfolio showing visual and interaction craft.
• Experience shipping AI-powered features with trusted AI UX patterns.
• Experience building or evolving a design system with adoption.
• Expert in Figma and rapid iteration with Claude.
• Hands-on user research and usability testing.
• WCAG accessibility standards experience.

Responsibilities

• Design vision: own the design standards across the product suite and mentor designers as the team grows.
• Tie design to business outcomes like adoption and customer satisfaction; measure success.
• Own visual direction, reduce complexity, and ensure cross-device consistency.
• Lead AI-powered feature design from concept to launch; ensure trust and accuracy.
• Build and evolve a design system; collaborate with engineering for on-brand prototypes in Claude.
• Perform customer research: join calls, shadow staff, run usability tests; keep personas current.
• Deliver wireframes, mockups, and working prototypes; provide specs and defend decisions with evidence.
• Ensure accessibility compliance across all experiences.
