Job summary

Honor is seeking a Senior Staff Product Designer to guide the strategy and end-to-end delivery of digital products and service experiences for aging adults. You will work across clients, families, care professionals, and operators, balancing user needs with technology and business goals.

You will lead the design of services and flows, collaborate with teams, and apply data-informed approaches to decisions while advancing AI-enabled design practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in UX and product design.
• Fluency in using research and quantitative data to inform your design and systems thinking.
• Bias towards action and an iterative approach to problem-solving.
• Strong systemic thinking with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems strategically, balancing user needs, tech feasibility, and business goals.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to present and pitch design decisions with logic and concision to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
• A strong AI-native workflow and informed opinions on how AI can improve design quality, team capacity, and business value.
• A portfolio that shows strong product thinking, interaction design, and shipped work.

Responsibilities

• Own product work end-to-end: Be accountable for outcomes, not just activity.
• Collaborate iteratively: Partner with business and engineering to define problems, explore solution spaces, validate concepts, and ship products and features that move key metrics.
• Prototype using AI tools to make decisions faster: Use Figma Make and Claude Code to build and iterate on flows and interfaces; guide structure, behavior, and UX quality.
• Design the service, not just the screen: Shape workflows, processes, communications, and digital tools.
• Ground UX strategy in evidence: Combine data + user insights to decide which problems are worth solving.
• Build for the team’s future: Add to and collaborate on our patterns, prompts, processes and knowledge.
• Raise the bar for quality: Participate in critiques and team reviews.
• Lead with Honor’s principles: UseHonor’s leadership principles as your compass for day-to-day work.
