Job summary

Shortcut is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join a remote-first team building AI-enabled product experiences. You will design and ship features across our platform, collaborating with Design, Product, and Engineering to move ideas from concept to production.

You will balance design detail with practical implementation, prototyping in Figma and coding parts of the solution. The role emphasizes hands-on work and close teamwork across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing web applications, with hands-on work integrating agents and LLMs into production in the last 2+ years.
• Ability to ship code as part of how you design, not just handing off specs.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills and visible voice for your work.
• Open to feedback and iterative toward the best solution.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product design across our products, from early concepts to shipped experiences.
• Prototype quickly, and take ideas from an idea to a working build.
• Use AI to sharpen the design process itself, not just to move faster.
• Distill feedback and complex problems into focused solutions.
• Partner closely with product and engineering on strategy and day-to-day execution.
