Job summary

Shortcut is seeking a full-stack Product Engineer to own agentic, LLM-powered features. You’ll design scalable architectures and ship user-focused software that integrates agents with the core platform.

You’ll work across TypeScript/JavaScript, Node, Postgres, and AWS, balance performance with cost, and contribute to an on-call rotation. This remote role is US-based with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building SaaS web applications.
• Hands-on experience incorporating agents and LLMs into production.
• Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Experience building evals, observability, or safety guardrails for LLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack web applications using TS/JS on top of the platform.
• Architect and implement customer-facing, LLM-based layers.
• Design APIs for human and agent consumption.
• Evaluate models, prompts, and eval pipelines balancing quality and cost.
• Share on-call duties as needed.
