Job summary

1mind is building Superhuman AI for GTM and autonomous customer experiences. We seek a Lead Product Designer to define how buyers interact with this new class of software across buyer‑facing experiences, Console, and AI‑assisted workflows.

This senior IC role is hands‑on and requires partnering with Product and Engineering from problem framing to shipped product. You will prototype early, conduct usability sessions, and own design patterns that ensure coherence as the product grows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product design experience in complex B2B SaaS or similar products.
• A portfolio demonstrating exceptional interaction and visual design craft.
• Experience simplifying complex workflows and admin experiences.
• Strong product judgment and ability to define what should be built.
• Experience running usability research and talking directly with customers.
• Strong systems thinking and capability to map workflows to broader models.
• Bias toward prototyping and making ideas tangible early.
• High attention to detail and craft in final shipped product.

Responsibilities

• Own product design from problem framing through research, interaction design, high‑fidelity UI, prototyping, implementation, and iteration.
• Design new interaction patterns for human‑AI collaboration to help users trust and control autonomous software.
• Simplify complex workflows across configuration, integrations, multi‑step workflows, and system states.
• Shape buyer‑facing experiences and the tools customers use to configure and operate Superhumans.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define problems and solutions early.
• Prototype early using Figma, AI prototyping tools, or code‑based tools to test interactions.
• Lead customer conversations and usability sessions to gain real insights.
• Move between system level thinking and detailed interaction design to ensure coherence.
• Stay involved through implementation and QA to ensure quality.
• Evolve design system and reusable patterns as the product grows.
• Use data and feedback to validate that shipped experiences improve user outcomes.
