Job summary

Chime is seeking a Sr. Product Data Scientist to partner with Lending Product, Engineering, Risk, and Finance to impact liquidity and credit products like MyPay, Instant Loans, SpotMe, and Line of Credit.

You will own end-to-end funnels, design and analyze experiments, and translate questions into prioritized recommendations that balance growth, trust, and risk. You will build a robust experimentation program across lending products, enable PMs/Engineers with self-service analytics, and apply

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on data science or product data science experience in FinTech or lending.
• Expert SQL and Python proficiency required.
• Strong foundation in statistics, experimental design, and A/B testing.
• Ability to influence decisions with data and business judgment.
• Excellent data storytelling and visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Own funnels end-to-end for lending products and drive experiments.
• Design, run, and analyze A/B tests; translate results into actions.
• Provide self-service analytics and ad hoc causal studies for PMs/Eng.
• Build dashboards to monitor portfolio health and business metrics.
• Develop data pipelines and instrumentation using dbt/Airflow.
