Job summary

PEMCO is seeking a Senior Product Analyst to perform complex quantitative analysis of property and casualty products. You will collaborate with Product Managers and the Actuarial team to improve product performance and support PEMCO and Product initiatives.

Responsibilities include managing large projects, documenting workflows, and developing analytical strategies. Strong SQL, data visualization, and stakeholder communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• S. degree or equivalent in economics, business, information technology, mathematics, or a quantitative field is required.
• ~6+ years in analytical roles with pricing insurance products or similar data-intensive work is required.
• Able to organize data visually and present to senior management.
• Attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
• Proficiency in SQL, SQL Server, and data visualization is required.
• Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage large-scale, complex projects with support.
• Document complex workflows and business processes.
• Develop analytical strategies with Product Managers and Actuarial teams.
• Identify data strategy and warehousing enhancements and methodology improvements.
• Prepare materials for rate filings.
• Communicate analysis value to stakeholders.
• Conduct analyses to identify trends and propose improvements.
