Qualifications

• 8+ years of product design experience with at least 5 years managing product designers.
• Strong people management, coaching, and performance development.
• Cross-functional leadership with Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Marketing, and exec stakeholders.
• Experience designing for technically complex products such as ELT, data infrastructure, analytics engineering, developer tools.
• Experience designing AI-powered or agentic product experiences and scaling AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the dbt product design team across dbt platform and CLI products.
• Own UX strategy for dbt across product experiences.
• Provide design direction for technical data products and complex workflows.
• Shape AI-powered and agentic product experiences within dbt.
• Help integrate Fivetran and dbt Labs design across the unified product experience.
• Build an AI-native design operating model and establish design review standards.
