Job summary

PEMCO seeks a Principal Product Analyst to conduct complex quantitative analysis of property and casualty products, guiding product development with analytical insights. This role shapes product strategy through data-driven decisions and coordinates with Product and Actuarial teams.

The position requires senior-level analytics, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to manage large projects while mentoring junior analysts.

Qualifications

• S. degree or equivalent work experience in quantitative field is required.
• ~10+ years in corporate analytical roles with pricing experience or similar, involving large data manipulation is required.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities are required.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
• SQL, SQL Server and data visualization proficiency is required.
• Excellent communication skills; clear, persuasive verbal and written communication.
• Ability to present complex data visually and speak to senior management.
• Strong quantitative modeling, data structures, and complex SQL query skills.
• Highly analytical and data-driven with ability to work with external data sources.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a thought leader for complex business questions; represent Product in cross-functional projects.
• Lead development of the company data strategy and data warehousing improvements.
• Proactively lead analyses to evaluate product performance and track KPIs.
• Present analysis and visualizations clearly to stakeholders and executives.
• Plan and manage large-scale, complex projects independently.
• Develop best practices in PEMCO product builds, tools, and processes.
