Job summary

Elephant Insurance is seeking a Senior Product Business Analyst to bridge business teams and IT. You’ll define what needs to happen before code, stay with the project through launch, and ensure delivered work meets intent.

The role emphasizes using AI to accelerate boilerplate tasks while focusing on stakeholder trust and high-impact work. You’ll interview stakeholders, map system processes, and translate requirements for IT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, IT project delivery, product operations, or related role.
• Proven ability to independently lead requirements discovery on complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Track record of writing precise functional specifications that IT teams can build from correctly the first time.
• Experience managing the business-to-IT relationship through a full project lifecycle.
• Analytical mindset with ability to review post-launch reports and identify root causes.
• Demonstrated comfort using AI tools professionally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with business stakeholders across Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
• Lead requirements discovery by interviewing multiple teams to surface hidden needs.
• Use AI tools to accelerate documentation and drafting of requirements and user stories.
• Liaise between business and IT throughout the project lifecycle and manage clarifications.
• Own post-launch quality by reviewing dashboards and system outputs and flagging issues.
• Track project status across active workstreams and communicate updates proactively.
• Ask the right questions to surface potential issues before costly fixes.
• Mentor BA II team members on requirements quality and stakeholder communication.
