Job summary

Elephant Insurance is seeking a Product Business Analyst II to bridge business and IT, translating stakeholder needs into actionable IT deliverables and ensuring alignment with the intended outcomes.

You will lead requirements discovery across Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Marketing, and Operations, leverage AI to accelerate documentation, and own post-launch quality across dashboards and reports, in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in business analysis, IT project coordination, product operations, or similar roles (internships/count).
• Strong relationship and communication skills.
• Genuine curiosity about how systems and data work.
• Analytical mindset with ability to spot issues in data/reports.
• Familiarity with using AI tools to accelerate documentation.
• Highly organized with attention to detail across multiple projects.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with business stakeholders across Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
• Lead requirements discovery by interviewing multiple teams to surface hidden requirements.
• Use AI tools to draft requirements, functional specs, and user stories.
• Liaise between business and IT throughout the project lifecycle.
• Own post-launch quality by reviewing dashboards, reports, and outputs.
