Job summary

V2X, Inc. in Indianapolis seeks a Level 3 Buyer (Senior Buyer) to procure services and materials for HQ and programs, managing POs end-to-end in compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal policies.

The role requires 6+ years in procurement, US citizenship, ability to obtain a secret clearance, and occasional travel. Strong negotiation, communication, and Excel/Word skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of procurement, subcontracting, purchasing & contract management.
• Familiar with FAR/DFARS and contract law; able to brief senior management.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Purchases a variety of services, materials, and supplies for HQ site and programs.
• Reviews requisitions and places orders with approved suppliers.
• Identifies qualified suppliers and evaluates bids; negotiates price, delivery, and terms.
• Coordinates with Accounts Payable and ensures documentation per government and company policies.
• Leads, coaches, and mentors junior/mid-level buyers; travels as needed.
