Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage procurement for multiple programs, including domestic and foreign subcontractors. You will administer POs from sourcing to close-out, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, company policies, and customer requirements.

You will draft RFQs, lead supplier negotiations, review bids, and advise Program Management. The role requires travel and the ability to train junior buyers in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 6+ years of procurement, subcontracting, purchasing and contract management.
• Knowledge of FAR, contract law, purchasing policies; ability to brief senior management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Purchase orders for programs; manage POs through close-out; ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and policies.
• Draft RFQs, determine price reasonableness; negotiate with suppliers; support audits.
• Review bids; identify qualified suppliers; negotiate terms, price, delivery, and conditions.
• Maintain documentation for government and company policies; coordinate with Accounts Payable.
• Coach junior and mid-level Buyers; travel up to 10–15% as needed.
