Job summary

V2X Inc is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to manage sourcing, purchasing, and contract activities for complex services and materials. The role emphasizes government contracting knowledge, supplier negotiation, and cost optimization across programs and locations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in procurement, a BS/BA or equivalent, and US citizenship. NCMA certification is preferred, with travel as needed to project sites.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 10+ years of professional procurement experience, including government purchasing.
• NCMA certification preferred.
• US citizenship is required.
• Some travel to project locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Purchases complex or technical services and supplies, reviews requisitions and negotiates prices and terms.
• Evaluates bids, selects suppliers, and ensures delivery and quality standards.
• Engages in sourcing where no approved supplier base exists, and conducts cost analysis.
• Coordinates with program offices and multiple departments to complete orders.
• Maintains purchasing records and supports accounts payable on supplier invoices.
• Leads projects and may provide training or supervision as needed.
