You will coordinate with procurement and internal stakeholders, negotiate with manufacturers and subcontractors, and ensure timely execution of procurement plans in a dynamic engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant Purchasing experience sourcing, negotiating contracts with manufacturers and subcontractors.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint and Excel, plus familiarity with accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Procurement planning during bidding; develop RFPs and vendor matrix; negotiate and finalize agreements.
• Post-award procurement planning and implementation on major projects and programs; transfer docs to project teams.
• Understand market conditions and incorporate into procurement plans (pricing trends, lead times, value opportunities).
• Read, understand, and interpret contract docs, drawings, specifications, and schedules; travel as needed.
