M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Senior Purchasing Agent to support its growing businesses.

The role acts as a key liaison between Procurement and internal stakeholders such as the Executive Team, Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing, guiding procurement planning from bid to postaward phases. You will collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of a portfolio of projects, negotiating and finalizing supplier agreements and developing procurement plans.

Competenze

• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience sourcing and negotiating contracts with OEMs, construction/subcontractors and fabricators.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and SharePoint; MS Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting principles.

Mansioni

• Procurement planning during bidding phase and understanding contract specs/BOMs.
• Sourcing, identifying, and prequalifying vendors; developing RFPs.
• Analyzing quotes; negotiating and finalizing agreements.
• Developing the Procurement Plan and postaward implementation.
• Transferring bid documents to project teams and ensuring procurement planning.
• Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, lead times, and best-value opportunities.
