Job summary

RTX Corporation is seeking a Senior Analyst, Procurement for a remote U.S. role. You will manage supplier relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and support key business objectives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive procurement excellence.

Your responsibilities include RFQ/RFP/RFI development, price analysis, negotiation strategy, and management of high-value purchase orders, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years of relevant procurement experience or an advanced degree.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS or other heavily regulated industries (pharma, medical, space, aviation, power, automotive).
• Experience analyzing cost and pricing data to determine proposal compliance.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations per ecfr rule.

Responsibilities

• Managing supplier relationships, development, and performance to meet organizational objectives.
• Driving metrics such as Late to Place, Late to Dock, and Delinquent Material.
• Developing cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements.
• Managing subcontract agreements for high-dollar purchase orders in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Preparing and issuing solicitations (RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, IDIQs).
• Analyzing quotations and proposals using price and cost analysis techniques.
• Developing negotiation strategies and leading negotiations on price, delivery, and terms.
• Placing and managing high-dollar value POs.
• Conducting risk analyses and mitigation planning.
• Traveling to company and supplier facilities as needed.
