Job summary

RTX is seeking a procurement leader for a fully remote role in the United States. You will drive sourcing strategies, issue RFQs/RFPs, and analyze supplier responses to inform procurement decisions.

The position requires collaboration with operations, quality, and engineering teams to align activities with program objectives. Responsibilities include managing complex purchase orders, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in procurement or supply chain leadership roles.
• Experience in a SAP-based environment.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategies.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs and analyze supplier responses.
• Perform price and cost analysis to support procurement decisions.
• Develop strategies and lead formal negotiations on price, delivery, scope, and terms & conditions.
• Work with internal teams to align procurement activities with program objectives.
• Place and maintain purchase orders of medium to high complexity, ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance.
• Manage supplier performance to meet key metrics and ensure timely delivery.
• Serve as the escalation path for stakeholders to address procurement-related concerns.
