Job summary

RTX is seeking a remote Procurement Professional to support sourcing strategies, RFQ/RFP processes, and supplier negotiations for complex programs in the US. The role collaborates with operations, quality, and engineering to align procurement with program objectives.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in procurement or related fields, with SAP experience and US export status permissions. This is a remote US-based opportunity with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, management, finance, or similar leadership roles.
Experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar leadership roles.
Experience in a SAP-based environment.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.

Responsibilities

Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategies.
Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs and analyze supplier responses.
Perform price and cost analysis to support procurement decisions.
Develop strategies and lead formal negotiations on price, delivery, scope, and terms & conditions.
Work with internal teams to align procurement with program objectives.
Place and maintain purchase orders of medium to high complexity, ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance.
Manage supplier performance to meet key metrics and timely delivery.
Serve as escalation path for stakeholders on procurement-related concerns.
