Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Process Support Engineer (PSE) to guide products from concept through final qualification. You will provide high-visibility customer support via on-site installations, system diagnoses, and service and repair of complex equipment in semiconductor manufacturing.

You will collaborate with customers and R&D teams to develop leading-edge processes and run experiments and DOEs. Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Semiconductor Capital Equipment or similar high-tech industry.
• Preferred experience 3+ years’ experience in Applications or Process Engineering.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between customer and Business Unit to understand issues and deliver solutions.
• Collaborate with customer to optimize tool performance for process and integration needs.
• Check and approve operation quality; instruct customers in system operation and maintenance.
• Provide on-site support including installation, diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair.
• Knowledge of 3+ processes across technologies.
