Job summary

TGW Logistics is seeking a Process and Software Consultant to analyze and optimize distribution center processes, system landscapes, and integration requirements. You will bridge operations, software, and automation to validate feasibility, design scalable solutions, and support successful project outcomes.

The role involves evaluating business requirements, visiting sites, and delivering detailed process maps and specifications for implementations and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum five years of experience in high-level design or operation of intralogistics or software systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
• Understanding of software systems and IT architecture.

Responsibilities

• Participate in sales opportunity calls, design sessions, and reviews.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customer stakeholders to evaluate requirements and workflows.
• Visit prospective and existing sites to understand operating environments.
• Analyze existing warehouse processes, systems, and data flows to identify improvements.
• Develop process maps, detailed requirements, and feature documentation.
• Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and IT/Security Assessments.

The PCSW engages with customers across multiple functional areas to analyze and understand current distribution center processes, system landscapes, and operational challenges. Through detailed process assessment and operational analysis, the PCSW validates solution feasibility, identifies integration requirements, and helps optimize system design to maximize business value. By bridging operational, software, and automation considerations, the Process and Software Consultant contributes to the development of effective, scalable, and sustainable solutions that meet customer needs and support successful project outcomes.

What You’ll Be Handling

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in high-level design or operation of diverse intralogistics or comparable software systems, or related.
• Up to 25% of travel (domestic and international) required.
• Understanding of software systems and IT architecture.
• Ability to map operational activities to software requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
